They said it’s only possible as a dealer install and they won’t provide parts numbers.. if anyone can find it earlier (couldn’t find it myself), please feel free to post.

Strange, I'm not sure why these are discontinued and hard to find. Anyways, the dealership said these are going back into production and a batch has already been allocated for South Korea. which is why it's being posted.

After shipping and tariffs you're looking at almost $1000 just to get them here, and then whatever the dealership is going to charge to install them... so probably 2 grand all said and done.

Wait, why is everyone saying it's $2,000? Just wait for an alibaba one.
I'm paying $520 USD (converted), including labor.

as cool as those look I think I will buy a carbon fiber front spoiler and rear defuse for that Money.
I bought the puddle lights not knowing the wiring harness wasn't installed in my 2025 model. I'm wondering what it would take to connect them to the door switch that operates the carpet light. I did an install in my C5 Corvette a few years back.

It still floors me that BMW dropped the puddle lights, that's been a BMW signature thing over many years...
Did someone actually confirm that there is no wiring/connector in the harness for the lights?
Removing the door card and looking for a 2 pin connector with a ?? and brown wire?
I know there is no cutout in the door card, but it seems like it would cost BMW more money to change the wiring harness (by removing those 2 wires in each door) than by just keeping it the same, especially if later model years have them back... ???

Just got an official quote and receipt from BMW Korea. The total price is $380, including labor and parts. This includes a 30% discount applied for being an early bird. Can't do math on the top of my head, but it aligns with the $500 quote I got earlier for the full MSRP price, including labor.
Also, the part numbers seem to align with what
Th3Walrus has provided and starts with the code number "63".
Production has officially started and will be imported in October.
Only 28 vehicles will be installed, and two of them are X3M's. Hopefully I can get some cool night shots on them.

looking at the bottom of the door card / panel there is a spot that can be cut out for the install. it seems it shouldn't be that hard to find the correct wire and just splice into it with a connector that will work to plug it into.

I wouldn't expect BMW to leave them hanging as they could rattle against the door or doorcard, and then they get complaints...
Most likley, they are either taped or wrapped around the main wiring harness, and you'd have to look up through the cut out with a flashlight, or probably pull a doorcard to look for them.

EDIT: I think someone even mentioned in another thread there is a different harness that has this connector that you can buy separately for like $300
