I don't know how far back but I saw one of you guys trying to make the drl for X3M in yellow like the CS and CSL cars. If I remember correctly they got one side done but not the other. Is there a way to make both sides yellow and is there any suggestions of who could do that for me? Located in Nashville TN.. MY2020

08focus1 is the member with a pre-lci F97 that has the yellow DRLs. looks like he hasn't had any issues. not sure what the process is for the pre-lci cars.

personally I've already attempted to install them on my LCI. it pretty much involves removing the front bumper and uninstalling the headlights to gain access to the LED boards on the outside. I cheated by partially removing the front bumper and unscrewing the headlight and pushing it out far enough to make room to remove the heatsink.

installing wasn't the issue though. the LED boards themselves threw error codes and rendered the headlights useless (turning the lights off or using the high beams shut off the low beams completely). there's another member on the X3 forums who is having the same issue as I am. I am hoping the manufacturer corrects this soon and eventually sends out the corrected LED boards. in the mean time I went back to stock.

icedriver from aliexpress… basically where a lot of other vendors get their LED boards from. I’m assuming the ones the ones they made were for the f97 LCI laser lights and not the us adaptive LED headlights? they look fantastic and worked fine (the DRLs at least). just wished that the they didn’t throw codes and make nighttime driving a danger.

Go to the last or second to last page on the "What did you do to your X3M today" thread, a gentlemen did it on his 2020, I contacted the guy who he got them from. Modules are $300. The guys name on Instagram is "Mod emporium" Said they worked great. I will probably get them for myself in the spring time

Don’t quote me yet but I could swear there’s a company like Ind or something working on an LCI an laser version as well as RGB. I remember reading a post by a rep that it should be here soon by January.

I'm going to be doing some from IND soon on my x3 m40i and looking forward to it, that was the first time i've seen it on a black x3(mc). I've had the modules for some time now but now i'm really sold on it.

apparently they are delayed because the versions from Motorsport+ had "some issues." I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same ones that I experienced.

i was just looking at the icedriver led's... good thing i ran by this thread.

08focus1 do your low beam lights come on at night? Can you not drive in the dark? Is it just your yellow DRL on at night??

No codes, 2-3 hour installation, the long part is getting the lights out.
