Did you get it by way of a dealer or OTA?
Aware of the update in November, 11/2024, coming to USA in December but before then getting an OTA update ~3 months after they released in Europe was typical. Although dealers have been known to install them earlier if you brought vehicle in for service for something else.

SiriusXM stopped working. Not wanting to do a hard/soft reset, I checked for the March update and it was available. Downloaded, transferred, installed and SiriusXM is back.
Now to figure out why my USB-C plugs don't charge my devices consistently and that darn blinking lock door light on the driver's side.

I'm not following why BMW configured it so that I need to download the update to my phone app and then transfer it to my car. On my other vehicle, I get a notification in the app to initiate the software update, but the car itself downloads it directly.

anyone play around with the update... I find it slower.
Starting the car is just a black screen and I feel like it takes longer to load up. Maybe it's just "settling in" and will improve.

I wish BMW would add the ability to view a detailed turn list for a NAV destination. I’d also like the ability to change the ambient light color in all modes. Unfortunately 3/2025.38 does not offer the ability to do either.

Anyone have issue with eSIM and no data after activation. I activated mine no problem everything looks good in app and on vehicle but I have no data. My carrier says everything on my account looks good and that I need to call BMW for further troubleshooting.

Has anyone had a problem with the extra drive modes disappearing after the update? Hard reset did not fix. All “connected” products show active.
Also, in case anyone else experiences the “Hey BMW” assistant going away, it may be the language failed to download. For me, it was fixed by retrying the language download in the app.
