Whatever you do, don't get the puddle lights with the BMW logo puddle lights matched with the M performance carpet light. The one 9K and I have are the M performance ones.

Stick to normal halogen or LED ones to help amplify the ambience of the welcome M performance light as a tasteful touch, trust me on this one - unless you want to look like a riced out Honda with a ton of BMW logo lights all over when you open the door. It doesn't look right

Adam update this thread if you get it working.

I changed out my carpet lights to the M-Performance ones, but I'd still like to have puddle lights if it's easy to do.
Is it just me, or do the M-Performance ones seem brighter than the "Angel Wings" ones?

(Is that the Rustoleum epoxy garage floor kit, I see? A heck of a lot of prep work, but looks good. I remember when mine still looked good.)

They do seem brighter

Garage floor came with the house... don't worry, it's peeling up in places. I'm ready to re-epoxy it.

Way brighter, Adam.

And they project way further.
