What is needed for coding:


ENET cable
E-Sys software 3.26.1 with EST token and Pin
psdzdata 54.2
A dedicated laptop with Windows 7 with minimum 16 GB of free space
Backup utility for CAF files (optional), file attached
Useful Cheat Sheet for Fxx, file for F25 attached, others are available in different forums


Prepare your setup:

You can build your own cable or buy from a good source. Use shielded cables only. Cable should be reliable as interruption and electrical noise interference of any kind during coding could be very risky.

Delete unwanted SW and data from your laptop. It may be worthwhile to de-fragment your HD of laptop before installing the coding software as this software will [...]

Hi! First of all many thanks for this awesome thread.

I'm trying to code M brakes on my 2018 F32, connection works fine but as soon as I try to activate FA I receive the following error:

No FP could be generated from FA "". [C002]
no FA2FP known for Entwicklungsbaureihe F032 [858]

Using ESys 3.27.1 and pszdata 4.55.11, I made sure pszdata is correctly at C:/Data and swe on its folder, I have 0 clue how to fix this..

Any help would be more th/an welcome, thanks in advance!

If so, no, never, it's fully original. I just connected, read and save order and then tried to activate FA, but received the above mentioned error

I have a new laptop so went through the process of installing E-Sys again but I can't find whatever token file I had before. Last time I installed was 2022 so I really don't remember much about the details.

I have seen that I need to obtain a token seperately and also that it's generated on my local machine. Coinfused, can someone tell me what I need to do?

Hello Shawn, i have a 2019 G01 X3 from the United Stated and the main issue is that the car cannot connect to internet so I don`t have ConnectedDrive available and the phone link, which is fine, not a big issue. Is there any way to change like the region on the headunit so I can use it in Europe, I`m acutally in Romania.

And the second problem is that I want to have Apple CarPlay in fullscreen mode, I tried with BimmerCode and i get the white screen on the right side, from my understanding so far, I need to update the firmware of the head unit, can you help me with that or what are my options to get CarPlay in fullscreen mode?
