Hey guys..

So I bought a 2011 BMW X3 xDrive35i with some light front end damage and decided to convert the car to LCI front and M-sport kit for the whole car.

What you need: (what I paid)

Front bumper ($130)
Front kidney grills ($65 for black double slot)
Front bumper center grill ($50)
Front bumper lower grill ($35)
Front bumper L+R bazels ($90)
Tow Hook Cover ($18)
Front bumper engine shield adapter ($40)
Headlight washer caps ($50)
LED fog lights L+R ($110)

Headlights (bi-xenon in this case) ($970)

M-Sport fender wheel arches (can't find the total price)
M-Sport side skirts L+R ($280)
M-Sport rear bumper ($120)
M-Sport diffuser (not bought yet)

I also installed high line LCI A/C heater control panel ($75)

Mods to come:

- Front lip
- Diffuser
- 20" wheels
- Quad Exhaust
- 6WA cluster
- Android upgrade
- N55 Downpipe (bought, needs to be install)
- Paint roof rails black

Also got my seat belts re-done at Safety Restore (original webbing was ugly and dirty)

I'll be happy to answer your questions.

Also, I made some custom vinyl pieces for headlights to cover orange reflector (might make more if demand is high enough)

More pics to come!!!

Whats the difference in the Heater Control panel? Any pics? And what all is involved in it. I would love to update the front of mine but dont think i could handle going through all that work.

You did a great job! I wanted to ask since you seem quite knowledgeable on the subject, have you considered buying the "aftermarket" bumper M-sport setups? I'm from Canada and purchasing the OEM ones are usually from ebay all busted up. I wanted the aftermarket ones as I assume they will bolt right onto my non-M.

Hey man,

I considered buying the whole m-sport aftermarket kit, but decided against it because I wanted to make sure it fit OEM. I also realized that if I took my time searching it would be cheaper with OEM parts. Everything will bold right up either way you go, there is no need of any special brackets or anything like that. Just remove and replace. The only thing I had trouble with is the belly pan to m-sport front bumper plastic adapter piece that was different between the models. GetBMWparts.com is another great place to buy parts, sometimes their prices are better than used parts price on eBay. I'll PM you another place I used to get OEM parts.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Small update to my build.

1. Got the VeePeak obd connector and coded a bunch of things including the sport transmission. Only thing still not working is closing mirrors when locking the car.

2. Got the OEM sport pedals in the mail, waiting to install. These were an extremely good deal from a member here.

3. Lastly got the BMW roof bars installed, local guy sold these for $50 lol.

Also got the downpipe! Waiting on a few more parts to come in! I literally got the craziest deals on all these brand new parts, I feel blessed, thank you Lord!

Do you mind posting a list of the parts used for your conversion? I'm contemplating it for my wife's X3 3.5, she hit a deer the other day, and it broke the headlight, foglight the bumper cover is cracked, black fender flare, etc..
Did you resolve the headlight issue I've read about? My X3 has the "adaptive/active" headlights so I would prefer to keep those, but, the LED lights are probably better anyway.

Thanks!
