I messaged AliExpress about the rear trim being too long. The vendor didn't realise there was a difference between the G45 and G48 rear door cards. Anyway, he confirmed the ones available only fit the Chinese G48, and he promptly gave me a full refund without return.

This morning, I installed the front trim pieces and was looking at the rear pieces wondering if I could cut them shorter. What the heck... I decided to give it a go. I measured and cut them with a fine tooth hobby saw and sanded the edges with 400. Perfect! Happy.

Wow looks good. You must build models for a hobby. Don’t know of many people having such a fine tooth saw & 400 grit paper lying around. 🤣

Pics of my mods so far. Waiting on CF lift switch trim for the front. Wanted to add real CF if possible and avoid fake CF. I did add CF paper to that dip in front of shifter and used extra M sticker I had from buying them for my rear calipers.
