Ordered these pieces. Real carbon fiber and gloss black for window switches. Will report back once installed.

Is it the color of the stitching or the length of the stitches? Or something else?
I'll try to look again when I'm home but the only thing I noticed at the time was that the stitching is white whereas the stitching in my X3 is colored.

Fitment is decent overall, but it definitely takes a lot of time and patience to install properly. Before you buy them, make sure they are specifically for the G45. I bought ones for the G48 and the all rear pieces didn’t fit, had to trim them to make them work.

Very curious on your experience with these carbon fiber parts. How was the installation and final fit?

I have the padded door covers. They came with white stitching that didn't match the blue that is on the vehicle, so I used a blue fabric permanent marker to dye the stitching blue.
It’s not 100% perfect, nor could I get the stitching to perfectly line up, but it’s nothing anyone would notice if they weren’t paying attention closely.
When I first installed them, I didn’t think I liked them (the way they recess the switch gear) but after removing them I realized how much more “unfinished” the flat plastic looked in comparison, so I put them back on.
Here are some pics I quickly snapped. Ignore what looks like staining, that is from my kid who was eating in the car…..

That looks good. Is the stitching grey to match the interior or white?

I think it's a little more white, but not noticeably so. Does a pretty decent job of matching the interior stitching.

How about these?
M50 w/KTSW beware: stitching of the black versions of these covers won’t match your OEM stitching which is blue.

Got my car back today. The front covers fit perfectly. The rear covers are too long. Disappointed.
