I'm running 20% to match the rears and a 45% windshield.

Here are the wheels. I purchased through driftworks.com when they had a sale back in July. They were roughly $1500 shipped to the US from UK.

Love them as well - looking forward to seeing them mounted.

I am considering going with 20" square setup for summer...

Quick test fit to ensure they clear.

All good on the caliper and barrel side though they are pretty close to the suspension. I wouldn't run any higher offsets than et25 if you plan to have 10" wide in the front. I will likely run 2-3mm spacers for safe keeping.

I dig them tho!

Hey Brock! I also just made the jump from B9 S4 to X3MC! Quick question...did you add the exhaust valve controller or just changed the midpipe? Or does the BM3 tuning allow the valves to open fully?

I'm trying to compare to how loud the B9 (AWE/Milltek) exhaust would be compared to OEM (Exhaust valves FULLY open) vs Midpipe + Stock (Valves fully open).

Whats up buddy! Congrats on the new ride! Hope all is well.

I don't have a valve controller. I just have the valves fully opened in Sport Plus via BM3. It sounds perfect paired with the Active midpipe.

Thanks Martin! The next plan is to run a new snazzy set of JDM's come spring time. Hint hint, you've ran them on two of your previous cars haha.

A few rolling shots from yesterday. This was my first time trying these so I definitely need a little more practice but really happy with how some of them turned out.

This will also be a farewell to the BC Forged RZ01. They'll be off to a new home soon!

As the temps are starting to drop here in Chicago I figured I would mount the winters a little early. I usually wait until late November but I was sorta forced to with the sale of my BC Forged ha.

So here is the winter setup!

Japan Racing SL01 in Matte Black
20x10 et25 squared
25lbs/ea

Michelin Pilot Alpin 4 N-Spec
275/40/20

Now the disclaimer....
These wheels popped up and were a great deal back in July. I paid roughly $1600 shipped from the UK to the US and purchased through Driftworks. They take roughly 2-3 weeks to make. They are custom offsets via Japan Racing. Fedex took absolutely forever to release them from customs which I get it. That's the world we live in now. They ended up losing one wheel and later finding it... All said and done, it was roughly 10 weeks from the day I ordered until I had all 4.

A few cavoites:
- The quality of wheel finish is ok. I usually don't like doing matte wheels and prefer satin due to a little better durability. I double ceramic coated these in hopes that would help the longevity of them.
- Lug bolts... I later found out that the lug holes on these wheels are cut to tuner spec meaning the hole is literally 21mm wide. This unfortunately led me to removing my stud conversion because the lug nuts would not fit in the wholes. You NEED internally driven lug bolts to run these wheels. I opted for Otis Inc LA bolts. They are a bit pricey but awesome quality.

Overall they are a nice set of wheels for the price but keep the above in mind. Now on to the fitment!

These look absolutely awesome - fitment is spot on. Are you running any spacers?

Quick question regarding lug bolts - assuming one does not have a stud conversion like you did, do the wheels still require special/unique lug bolts to work, or would stock be ok?

Thank you. I'm really liking them. I have a 2mm spacer up front to push it away from the suspension a little more but it's not required. They clear all 4 corners without them.

You will still need internally driven lug bolts. Anything that a socket needs to go around will not work. They need to look like this

Thanks! They don't break the bank too hard either when compared to TireRack offerings etc.

New wheels were ordered this morning! We'll see how long the wait is ha
