Looks like you have had some fun here! I'm also thinking about getting the KW's but I'm a little worried about camber/toe/axels/boots over the long term! You have had about 4 years on yours and I'm EXTREMELY curious about any issues long term. How has everything held up? Do you think it's harder on the truck being that low or it's all good? Thank you in advance for your input and again, great job on this project!

Carbon3fiber wroteLowering the vehicle properly shouldn't have any affect on those items. It does limit how much positive camber you can put back into the car and other alignment elements but that's completely dependent on how low of a ride height you go with. I haven't had any issues with anything suspension related. (got the car in March 2022 and i've put roughly 32k miles put on it since then)Looks like you have had some fun here! BrockDM, can you post a picture of your alignment settings?
I am dialing in my new KW V3 suspension and curious what people are running.

BrockDM wroteDUDE! I love this! It's great seeing them all at once. I think the current set is my fav. Fitment is more aggressive than I would run, but that stepped lip! Ooph. Such an iconic and excellent look. The Advan GT's were certainly one of my favorites as well!
I've had a few.....

Brock I may have missed it, but do you know how much you're lowered?
I'm dropping mine off tomorrow to have the KWs installed, and I think I want mine about a 1/4-1/2 inch or so higher than yours.

I noticed from the video you were doing a rear wheel burnout before the run. Is that xdelete or some other software and did you make the run in rwd?
Thanks
Thanks

Along the same lines...
I got 2WD coded, and it works great. After I do a burnout though, then switch immediately back to launch control (M2) it doesn't seem to want to launch right. What is your process for switching from 2WD for a burnout back to AWD for launch control?

hivoltagedriver wroteI had it coded into the iDrive. For the life of me i cant remember who did it. It was a guy named Alex in one of the Facebook groups.Along the same lines...

I've never had a problem going from 2wd to 4wd. After the burnout I just roll out, come to a stop, activate M2 which is 4wd and go. And yes, I only use 2wd for burnouts, nothing else.

paxton306 wrotePlease try to not quote with ALL the pictures. It hurts the eye balls... because it makes them dry & sore from all the additional reading / scrolling for no reason. Feel free to just quote the main text when you can. Thank you in advance from the X3 M community...With this cover does it allow easier access to the oil filter housing?

paxton306 wroteFrom my understanding you have to remove the factory air box to access the oil filter housing. The G80 cover is irrelevant. Aftermarket intakes such as BMS or front mounts make it easier to access the oil filter housing because the stock air box is already removed. With this cover does it allow easier access to the oil filter housing?

Such a badass X3M with a fantastic build thread.
Really anxious to get out and drive one to make a decision on buying.

Yeah I have installed an aftermarket intake, but I kept the cover on to make it look better. So I'm hoping if I remove the old one and replace with this cover, it will allow more access to the oil filter housing.
