Still debating between 666M and 437M

So as I posted yesterday, I traded my 17' M3 for an 18' comp edition M3 (MT for those wondering) however I'm still wondering if I should stay with the black 19's that I had on my 17' (which I loved) or go with the black edition 666 wheels. I think the 19's look amazing since they are really concave on the rear tires but I like the 20" look better and like the fact that it sets the car apart from non comp models.

Has anyone had this dilemma when they ordered their comp package? The car is going to be black.

Get the 20's. If you dont like them, im sure there will be a line up of guys willing to trade their 19's with you.

It was a no brainer for me. Love the 666's.

How are your roads ? Toronto's are 3rd world. I blew 2 tires in the last year on pot holes.

20 incher, might be rough ride. Personally i wouldn't risk it.

Roads are terrible all over the northeast so we are all in the same boat. Maybe 20's will help me dodge the pot holes easier than the 19's?

Definitely get the 666M's. And like someone else said, if you don't like them you can sell them very quickly as they are exclusive to '18 model years.

I just love the black 19's but also love the fact that I can upgrade to 20's even if I'm not that crazy about the 20's.

Isn't that the CS wheel?

I personally wouldn't want the 20's, not the best design for one, two, more expensive tires, three, less than ideal ride quality.

If it were me I would do the 19's. The only problem with that is everyone has them. There is a reason BMW offers people the option of wheels with the ZCP option. They never did that in previous generations.

They do. But you cannot order the car with them, you need to get them after the fact. You will still need to chose to order your car with either the 437M or 666M, so it does really not resolve your dilemma

Not quite. The M-Performance wheels are Satin Black while the CS wheels are Orbit Grey.

Problem is you already PAY for the 20's. You can "downgrade" as a "no cost option" to the 437s, which I think really isn't fair.

So you can argue get the 20's, see if you like them, if not trade them, but that's a lot of work...

I love the the 437s over any wheel out there

What's not to like about the black 666 Ms?

They ride much better than the 19s in the 2017 M4 I had before and have way better grip. Probably because the 437Ms I had before were Continentals and with the 20 inch 666 Ms now I have the Michelin Pilot Super Sport but not one did I feel they are less comfortable. People who say that are really over exaggerating and ought to go and buy a comfy Toyota Camry

Has anyone had this dilemma when they ordered their comp package? The car is going to be black.

There are a lot of questions that go around this. Basically I selected the 19s because I like the style a lot better, the additional tire options for the size, and option to put a multitude of winter tires on this wheel.

So I guess first question - which do you like better? That may make your decision easiest.

Second - are you concerned about blowout? Do you have/will you have a spare? When I was making my decision there was a backorder for the 20" tires which would put the car out of service for some time.

Third - do you need winter wheels and tires? Do you need just winter tires? Options are limited at the 20" size, they are more extensive at 19 and 18.

And I agree with the premium on the wheel. Some say to just get the 666 and sell it if you don't want it. Then again, that's a whole lot of work to take 4 wheels off your car and "swap" them with someone else.

I have a set of 18's for winter so that's not an issue and I have the tire insurance that replaces tires and mags in case if blowouts.
