You could always plastidip them to see how you like the look. Cheap and reversible if you don't like it.

Just a thought. If you do end up liking it you might find someone who wants to trade you.

heard it's a nightmare to remove plastidip off wheels.

I like the wheels as well and do think they would look better all black. I hate how the spokes are silver. 500 is reasonable for a set powder coated.

Yes, gloss black will look a lot better. Just be careful not to scratch it because it will stand out more. Also, I don't think u can powder coat the wheels if its a lease.

You're OK powder coating OEM wheels as long as they come back OEM, We get a ton of lease returns with powder coated wheels, not a problem. Good luck, I like the gloss black idea but was torn on ordering the silver wheel. Glad I went with black but silver looks nice as well.

Wow, thanks for the info. I always wanted to powder coat my wheels but I thought they would give me problems.

Satin or matte black would look best to contrast YMB. I would never plastidip wheels of a nice car. It's a bitch to remove and it creates vibration after a rain (plastidip retain water I guess).

I played with plastidip on my last 7 series grill. It didn't hold up with rock chips and took me 1 can of WD-40 to remove. It was a nightmare.

With that, spend the extra cash to powder coat it. My Imola Red 6GC has powder coated black satin OEM wheels. Looks great and easy to clean.
