So my indecisiveness caused me to miss out on the BMW end of year deals (i.e. BMS FS rebates). When will they likely offer more good deals on new X3?

Will have to wait for the January deals to be posted here or other forums

Bmwusa.com doesn't show any incentives for the X3

I notice a strange thing.. if I put one dealership zip (98005 Bellevue) it is 2.89% and if I put in one that's only 30 minutes away (98134 Seattle) it is 4.55%. Guess it depends on the dealership participation..

I just bought mine week ago and it was 3.89%.. but when I check the system, for my home zip it was 2.89% and for the dealership it was 4.55%.. How did I get this 3.89%? Note I do have excellent credit score.

1% likely dealer mark up. My dealership tried to do the same and I told them to take it down lol

Last month it was the same as loyalty, $1500. Given that everything else seems to have stayed the same, I would assume it's still $1500. I'm in TX, in case there's regional variation ...

Conquest Cash (1,000) - if you're coming from another manufacturer

Loyalty (1,500) - If you are coming from an existing BMW

Cannot combine both.

Am I correct to assume this?

I combined Costco discount, finance discount, and loyalty discount so I can't see why you can't combine them all.. and then barter some more. That's what I did!

I talked to the finance lady and she said they normally go with the lowest rating, but for Jan they might have had a new rate.. I asked her to look it up for the X3 and she said 2.89%.. so possibly this is just a game of shifting where the money comes from.. Though 3.89% isn't bad.. probably costed me $1200 for the life of the loan. Probably throw in a bit more in to reduce the interest.

I thought the costco discount ended in april 2018, is this new or region specific?

They had mentioned something like that, but the other BMW dealership was planning on giving it to us so they decided to work with that when bargaining. The other BMW dealership is direct competition against them. Talking with them, they (both dealerships) told us that they can't even trade cars even if the other dealership has something they want. Pretty much we could have played each one off each other.

The fact that you said "costco" means you got yours sometime when costco was in play, which was before october of last year.

Conquest and loyalty dont stack. Things that dont stack, dont.

Costco did stack with loyalty cash when it was in play, which it isnt anymore. New corporate discounts dont stack with other programs under the just released new corporate discount.

it all depends on how one is negotiating. If one is negotiating at XX above (or below) invoice minus incentives, then what the incentives actually are and what stacks with what matters. If one is just getting a price, the dealership can say they are using whatever the customer wants to use and discount it enough to make the customer happy.

There is no costco pricing as of october of last year, so if a dealer said "we are giving you costco" they are just discounting the $500 incentive that costco provided without actually using it (because they couldnt). To the consumer it wont matter as they get their money, but it can confuse others who think things are in play that arent.

I was treating the Costco incentive as a starting point. I know they don't offer it anymore, but they were willing to start there before bargaining. Getting discounts before haggling is always good. Any case they stacked all of those items before we started haggling. Both BMW dealerships I went to were stacking all those discounts I mentioned. First one was estimate since he didn't have the car there (but could ship it in), and the second one did have it and I bought it.

Edit: I bought in December 2018 when Costco was not active anymore..
