Beautiful M2! Carvana offered me low 40s for my 2017 M2 with 38k miles on it back in May. As for the X3 M40i you should look for at least 6% off MSRP.

I got $2500 off from Tulley BMW Nashua because of the pandemic- I usually get 10-12% off
51000 is the MSRP

So far I've seen one firm quote, 1.5% off MSRP, again X3 M40i in northern NJ. That guy gave good bid on my M2, $6k better than the one other BMW dealer who gave me a firm quote on the M2, and about what it should per KBB/Edmunds (which I've found in past pretty hard to squeeze that out of a new car dealer).

Just to give some feedback, more quotes to go and I will counter lower obviously.

I want to check if this the deal (August 2021) makes sense or I can do better:

2022 X3 xDrive 30i, Carbon Black, M Sport, Shadowline, Premium, Leather, Ventilated Seats, Remote Start.
MSRP $54,520

36 month, 10k mi lease

- Dealer discount about 5.5% ($300 above invoice)

- Loyalty $500

- PenFed $500

- MF 0.001

Dealer also has "non-negotiable" $500 Doc. fee

Thoughts are appreciated!!!

Discounts are hard to be had, so I think 5.5% is reasonable considering it's a MY22 too. Incentives look reasonable. I think MF is .00093. Most dealers charge some sort of doc fee but I thought $300 was more reasonable.

Did you use PenFed's car buying service for this? I looked last night and they're saying the average discount is a hair over 2%.

Why be average when you can be top quartile?

Search and you shall find. Deals are there to be had.

the APR for 0.00093 should be 2.232 %

do you guys see on your contract the MF and APR?

I've got contact info for a couple of brokers (I think you sent me one), but I'm curious about whether the PenFed service is of value. I'm not yet a member, so I can't get past that initial "this is the average savings" screen to see what they're actually offering.

so the dealer said the MF is 0.00133, I believe the added 0.00040-ish is dealer markup

it's near impossible to get 5% and a very good MF

MF is .00093. I posted that above. Anything above that is a dealer markup.

Does anybody know the average discount [lease if it matters] on a '21 X3 in the NY area? I have tried to find a broker who would help, but none seem to have or be interested in working with a '21 X3.

I am looking for a 22 x3, NJ dealers are mostly $500 off msrp and 1000+ fees. PA dealers have 3-4% off and reasonable fees.

Thanks. I hope the discount is better for the '21s but I'm not so sure they will be. I live in NY, so depending on where in the tri-state area I purchase from, fees could go from reasonable to high.

I haven't used them myself yet, but have you looked at any of the brokers that have been mentioned? Several people report receiving ~7% off of MSRP. f82fanatic knows someone…

I have seen those ~7%, are they lease or finance? I think if lease, there are deals on leasehakr. I asked some dealers, they just cant sell with more discount
if cash or finance.

That's right.

Not sure if 7% at this time, but it was that a few months ago a.

Maybe closer to 6%? But yes, Leasehackr is the spot.

It doesn't matter if it's a lease or financed, this number being quoted is before incentives.

Leasecompanion is highly recommended.

I just want to give an update on my experience at Bergstrom. I picked up my 2022 X4 M40i on Saturday. Everything went as expected and as quoted. The staff was very pleasant to deal with. I got the 7.4% of MSRP. It cost me around 1% to fly up there from DFW and drive back, with one night hotel stay, gas and a small out of state fee, so I netted 6.4%. I would definitely recommend them.
