(Sorry, videos removed / our and other kids etc)
Took to a camp site that was significantly more 'offload' than I was expecting! I was genuinely panicking at some other points. I have removed videos, but was showing one of us in the jam packed heavy car, crossing a small river with very loose stony surface, then up a muddy bank to grassy hill. Was really impressed by the X3,on the exact same crossing, A Holden (GM) Colorado needed to get towed out shortly after when bogged. While I didn't have grippy tyres or low range gears, it helped having the 30d where I was able to basically go steady the whole way at about 1000 rpm. Was pretty impressed...afterwards. Had mine into the dealer for a new battery. Purchased last Saturday, 9 June, and right off the showroom floor (11 mi) and an error message read “replace battery.” Too many lookie loos while on display. Everything is good now, a few regrets regarding options, or lack of, but happy to be in this M40. Can’t wait to get to 1200 miles!

Black it out
I am trying to do the same to my X3. I have chrome window outlines and chrome roof rails, which I plan on wrapping or painting black. I’m interested to find out if you are going to try and black out the ‘decoratove” pieces in the front fender and rear fender? I can’t seem to find any threads on blacking out the X3.

Cost was $30 each. There’s a YouTube video that gives exact placement. |

Took the X3 Friday morning to take care of ...
Recall for updated manual Recall for missing screws on spoiler While reading the key , SA said the fuel line issue was going to get checked. Not sure what exactly is done to fix this in the states . There was a rattle coming from the exhaust (rear passenger area). Sound was clearly mechanical and would only appear when the X3 was at operating temperature and there was no load on the engine. So imagine driving for a few miles and you get a red light- the rattle would make it sound like a 1989 camry. SA calles said they didn't know what the issue was but agreed it was not normal so they ordered a replacement exhaust. Full exhaust . Car was supposed to be ready yesterday but never a got a call to pick up. I will upload picture of the paperwork when I have it. Currently have an e-drive x5 loaner. Terrible ride. I'd rather take a first generation f30 . |

Here is an excerpt of the Svc report which took care of the four recalls earlier this year for us (including checking the fuel line routing to make sure in correct position), arciga18. Hope the new exhaust takes care of your rattle.

Hi Guys. Just a newbie that hasn't used forums before. I purchased this and it works a treat.
