lol monkey with a wrench? that’s the best you got? listen guy, you the one that sound mad. for whatever reason you felt the need to comment on a post and give your opinion on what your cheap ass does with how you “maintain” your car and throw shade at me for knowing more than you. we get it, you own a BMW and got way in over head and can’t afford to keep your car up to proper spec. that’s on you, but for those that actually can afford their cars and want to maintain them for years to come will probably take my advice over yours. |

It's not clear to me why an alignment would be needed after a wheel/tire swap.
However, my friend chatGPT agrees with him: "You don’t need a new alignment if: The new wheels and tires are the same size, offset, and overall diameter as the old ones. No suspension components or steering parts were disturbed during the change. You should get an alignment if: The new wheels or tires are a different size, width, or offset, which could change suspension geometry or how the tires contact the road. You notice changes in steering feel, pulling, or uneven tire wear after the swap. You had to force anything during the wheel swap (like hitting stuck wheels or adjusting camber bolts). You're going from worn to brand-new tires — especially if the old ones were severely uneven. Bottom Line If the new wheel/tire setup is significantly different from the old one, or you want to be 100% sure your suspension geometry is optimized (especially for handling or tire life), a fresh alignment is a smart move. Otherwise, you're probably fine skipping it." - chatGPT That said, I have not and don't plan to get an alignment when I switch from summers to winters each yet. |

2. We all have different experiences, but it's also been discussed multiple times that bimmers are prone to get their alignment off from hitting just a few innocent-looking potholes. People have been reporting uneven tire wear on G01 all the time. My personal choice is to do wheel alignment at least once a year when I switch from winters to summers. Just IMO |

I don't disagree with regular alignments. In fact, I had one done 18 months ago on my M40i (after lowering), I noticed uneven tire wear now, and needed a new alignment.

I received my wheels as well today. Maybe I am a bit nitpicky but two of the 4 have blemishes in the finish. Details below.
Wheel 1 - OK Wheel 2 - Chip in paint but clear coat over it, blemishes in the finish. I guess I ran out of limit to post more pictures but: Wheel 3 - OK Wheel 4 - Scuff marks on the side by the tire bead. Overall great quality wheels and super light but 2 of the 4 having blemishes not ideal. Granted this can happen with the big boy brands as well. Last edited by deviation01; 07-25-2025 at 06:04 PM.. |

Not perfect but you’re buying a high spec wheel at a fraction of the cost from a discount supplier.
I didn’t notice any imperfections on mine, so maybe easy for me to say. At the end of the day they cost less than a set of tires that have zero value in 10k miles. Enjoy them |

The occasional piece of gravel will get picked up by the wheel and cause similar imperfections over time; I would just enjoy them because they look superb.

My thoughts exactly. Plus I am sure the tire installer will probably put a few custom marks as well on the wheels.

I used my stock bolts on mine. I made sure to ask if they made the wheels with ball or conic bolts. I also ordered 4 SCHRADER tpms part number 28238 from rock auto. They are plug and play and didn't need any coding.

I'd make a complaint about your wheels. Maybe you'll get two free wheels and you have some spares like the guy with Germany thing. You'll never know unless you ask

I am glad majority of people got no issues on their wheels. Adding some of the current convo. I think I may start a dispute with Alibaba or the cc if they don’t respond. |

It's nice to see so many really good looking wheels arriving for everyone. My replacements have been finished and will be shipped any day now. Everything is right this time...the color, the spelling, the polished lip. Can't wait to get them installed.

Some cleaner shots of the style 37 20”s after H&R springs installed. These would really pop on a darker paint color x3m

Next group buy?
Hey deviation01:
Out of curiosity, was this the seller that you were speaking with? Also, anyone else looking to get a set of wheels? Cheers, David ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Quote:
