[QUOTE=BeyondAddiction;32123677]Then you might not want to quote me since my reply was not to the OP either.
And I didn't "jump" on your suggestion, I was merely stating that the M40i already changes the throttle position sensitivity based on the driving modes and that it likely wouldn't fix the hesitation. Believe what you want, but claiming the Pedal Commander changes shift points is just not true. It's only manipulating the throttle position Ok , now it’s time STFU There’s always got to be a know it all on here You’re all over the place. Who are you trying to impress , yourself ?

Look, I'm not on here to be a troll or create enemies, just learn and enjoy our shared hobby of cars. If I'm the one spreading incorrect information on the Pedal Commander, I'll humbly apologise about it. But lets try and be adults here ok?

P.S. Yes I can be a bit all over the place because unfortunately that's how my brain works when I attempt to put my thoughts down, and then the more I try not to come across condescending, the longer it gets too. Trust me, its not to impress myself, so I apologize if I am coming across that way. Last edited by BeyondAddiction; 06-02-2025 at 05:13 PM.. |

Our pre-LCI 2021 always had a decent throttle, but the 2024 X3M40i was pretty lame and we put in a racechip xlr5. It's tunable and woke the pedal up a lot.

It’s scary as hell sometimes because it always seems to occur right when you’re slowing down to make a left turn, but cars are coming, and then you decide that you can make it. So, when you commit to the turn, and put your foot on the gas, nothing happens. Then it finally roars to life.

And to add. If you come to a complete stop and wait like 1 second or longer, it doesn't occur. It has something to do with like almost coming to a stop and then changing your mind. And usually on a left turn. It's weird.

But when it did happen, it felt exactly the same, and that 1 second delay is a long time when dealing with traffic. |

So me and my friend noticed it on my x4 when we were Auto X.
I would floor it to a straight, then when a turn would come up, goto step on the gas in the apex and it was a dead pedal or delay for 2 seconds. Happened every time. One way we got though it was put the steering as straight as possible and step on the gas right before turning the wheel. It sounds like other are experiencing the same thing not necessarily in auto X, but daily driving. It is annoying for sure. For context - I do have the Dahler ATTC and have the setting to Sport 1 - very little to no delay. We think its one of the safety with DSC. I did have DSC off tho. Need a BM mechanic to fully understand what this is if indeed its a safety in the car or not. I will say for the most part, the Dahler ATTC gets rid of pedal lag to accelaration. Unfortunately, I don't have a true solution, but wanted share my experience. |

I added a Dinan Throttle Booster to my '21 X4MC for off-idle laziness, and it helped immensely - it'll wake anything up
