And a few shots of our own "Cashmere Silver Metallic" picked up a week ago. I replaced the grille soon after we got home, as I didn´t fancy the silver kidneys.

Car was delivered this morning (in the pouring rain ) but the sun just came out for a few minutes so managed to get some quick photos.
Hopefully will get a chance, and decent enough weather, to give it a proper clean sometime in the next week. |

Looks awesome. Makes me happy about my colour choice.
I might just be getting used to it, but I don't think the grille looks too bad here. Could be I'll end up not using the replacement I have in the shed, after all. I does look like you still have a bit of protective covering on the radar sensor below the plate. Or maybe it's just an awkward reflection. |

The car is still covered in bits of protective plastic on the sensor, grills, sills, and inside...hopefully will get decent enough weather for more than five minutes to be able to go out and peel them all off. |

The colour is lovely...even when the weather is not that bright. We have it booked in for a full clean, light machine polish and ceramic coating to, hopefully, protect it a bit through the winter. We were originally going for white with black interior but then saw one in Phytonic with the oyster online and loved it. We had vowed to never get a cream/white leather interior again as the X5 is a pain to keep clean.....but the oyster just looked too good matched with the blue exterior. |

I decided to give the under-seat woofers a helping hand along with upgrading the front/centre speakers.

https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1900374 To be honest, I don't tend to adjust the EQ settings and I have left the sub at about 50% which is how it was when it was installed. I haven't felt the need to add a different amp and leaving it as it is now makes it a simple job to put the car back as purchased apart from leaving a run of power/earth cabling in case the next owner finds it useful. Hope that helps. |
