BMW Easter Eggs?

Are there such a thing or is BMW very straightforward and all business?

I suppose you could consider the double pull on the hood latch or double pull on the interior door handle Easter eggs but those might just be safety items.

(I did notice on my old X1 that I didn't have to double pull on the interior door handle to get out even when the doors were locked)

Then there's "BMW LED" or "BMW Laser" embossed on the headlight assembly.

What fun Easter eggs are you finding in your Bimmer?

These are not Easter Eggs since they are described in the owners manual.

There's an owner's manual?

I'm not a BMW guy, the M2 is the first one I've owned, but I consider "popcorn mode" (while in comfort pressing the traction control button) an Easter Egg, just because it's like a little gift for those that want the extra burbles but don't want the exhaust to be louder all the time.

But by the same token it's asinine of them to not give it to us in all the rest of the modes.

So is the music staying on after you've left the car. And the fact that I can't get my damn passenger door to unlock with the driver's door. Much more stupidity on this car than Easter Egg's.

If I recall correctly, the iDrive welcome message changes to have snow and Santa on Christmas.

Yes sir. It's hanging from the turn signal.

You do know if you hit the stop button twice and then open the door the music turns off right? Also there is a setting in IDrive to unlock the passenger door with the driver door. I have it set the way yours is in my wifes bmw for safety reasons. I guess reading the manual is hard.

Yes, I know these things, I just didn't know about them when I got the car.

No need to be an asshole n00bie.
