Does anyone know what BMW is using for its Mileage Adjustment Program on X3’s? .25/mile? What is it for the three main times; 1) before 2) during and 3) after leasing?
I’m trying to decide if leasing is right for me, at 20K miles per year. |

I believe 18k per year is the max they will do upfront. Upfront it’s about .18 per mile, .25 per mile during and after lease. It doesn’t make sense financially to lease a car if you drive more than 10-15k per year. It will actually wind up being more expensive that just financing the car, especially when factoring in extended maintenance (you will run out of BMW’s free maintenance program prior to the 2 year mark), excess wear and tear, brakes, and tires.

Hi everyone,
I'm located in the Bay Area of California and I'm interested in ordering a X3 M40i. Does anyone have any recommendations for a sales advisor in the Bay Area? If so, could you please PM me their contact info? Thanks in advance! |

Reach out to Stevens Creek BMW and ask for Ken. Tell him that Sang sent you.
Ken is the fleet manager and he can get you a good deal. Just tell him what you want in advance and if he doesn't have it, it'll get it shipped from LA (free of charge). Good luck! |

Hi guys,
I have this quote and not sure if it's a good deal. 2020 BMW x3 xdrive30i MSRP: $54,070 dealer price: $48,480 rebate: total $1,750 (through financing) I am in California. Thanks! |

M40i MY2020
Thanks to everyone contributing in this thread, really insightful stuff here.
I was offered the following for a MY2020 M40i MSRP $67870 Dealer Savings $1555 Financing Rebate $3250 for a subtotal of $63065 2.3% off MSRP, just over 7% after Rebate. My question is: It seems that most people are shooting for between 8%-12% off MSRP.. does this factor in the Financing Rebate? Or is this 8-12% expected to come from the Dealer? |

I asked last week and was told no in MN.
I am under 60 days, so only one pmt left. I was told by the dealer MF is 0.00168. They need to add 40 points to make money. Signaled it was not negotiable so I walked. MSRP discount was only 4.8% at that time, too. This is MN region. Last edited by Keca10; 10-23-2019 at 12:23 AM.. |

I still have 11 payments so will have to sit and wait... One dealer quoted 8% of MSRP before rebates right off the bat but I know for a fact that they are gonna rob me by playing with the lease numbers. |

Has anyone custom ordered a 2020 X3 M40i in the midwest and seen better than 5-6% off invoice before incentives for purchase?
I get the feeling that most of the deals I have seen on the forums that are doing better than 5% under MSRP are leases, and the dealers are making money on the lease deal structure. I have talked to a few dealers in the last week or so, none will do better than around 5% below MSRP for an ordered vehicle. Any leads / referrals would be greatly appreciated. |

Very hard to get those numbers on special orders unless it's a very high volume regional dealership. |

Problem is i want a 2020 (new engine, idrive and dash) loaded with a trailer hitch. not many out there, and certainly none on the lot for more than 30 days, let alone 90.
The one out there i have seen has interior trim i hate. Thanks for at least confirming my experience is common. FYI - every dealer i have spoken with has been willing to go to 5% under, some maybe $500 more under. I think that this is as good as you can get anywhere right now, and unfortunately it is pretty understandable/fair from what i can tell now. |

Thanks for the heads up on the 5%, I was able to talk my local dealer down from 2.3% to 4.5% on my ideal build. |
