It's still some time until they reveal this model, so quite impressive that you managed to get some shots.

Anyway, the front is the same as the G01 X3 (which we knew), so no surprises there. Then we have the rear. I'm not feeling this at all. Could be the photo, or the angle, but I just didn't like any part of it.

That rear is absolutely terrible. I don't even know how they even came out with that light design - doesn't really follow BMW's usual designs for the rear. Extremely disappointing.

It's called copying Mercedes.

This design is a bit more radical than the usual BMW way. The rear is iffy. I feel like it needs more glass rather than the actual roof going that far back.

On par with the ugliness of the Mercedes GLC/GLE Coupe.

It looks like there is a roof spoiler on this model, which is the M40d, so perhaps you'll get more glass on the standard models.

The lights do look too thin though, but will reserve judgement until I see it in the flesh.

Mercedes completely copied BMW on the SAV coupe line. I actually like this! Not a model that fits my life style though. Was trying to get my wife to get the MB!

They should just have copy pasted the X3 ones like this, it would have been even better

I thought they were going to modify the X3 rear lights to make it fit the design of the X4 rear but they went in a totally different direction for the worse. Way too much body panel, not enough lamp enclosure.
