Thank you man, I'm very pleased with what it has turned into
I have been eyeing the advans, te37s or the BC forged 5 spoke style. I forget where I first saw them but I think they look great on the X3M. Also not to mention how easy they are to clean :)

Thank you. I'm really liking them. I have a 2mm spacer up front to push it away from the suspension a little more but it's not required. They clear all 4 corners without them.

You will still need internally driven lug bolts. Anything that a socket needs to go around will not work. They need to look like this

Dreaming up a wheel setup, other than the 2mm spacer in front, is there room in the rear for a few mm?

Thinking of requesting forged wheels to be built in 20x10 et23 or et22 square

Yeah definitely. et22 or 23 would be ideal. I was lazy and didn't get another set of 2mm spacers haha

Next up! ER 200cell Catted Downpipes

Super stoked to get these installed in the coming weeks. It should sound pretty rowdy with the GT Haus exhaust. I opted to go HFC to keep some of the tone intact and not be ridiculous like a catless would be. I'm mostly excited to retune with F80 Paul and squeeze some more power out of these. My goal for 2023 was to run a 10.1-10.2 quarter mile and I'm hoping these will aid in that journey.

A massive thanks to r33_RGSport's user avatarr33_RGSport for hooking me up with his hand-me-down! Lol.

I won't be handling the install but wanted to share a few PN's for the gaskets and hex nuts. I believe they are one time use and granted I already had them off once to do my exhaust it's probably a good idea to replace.

Downpipe to midpipe gasket (2): 18308053348
Downpipe to midpipe hex nut (6): 18307525607
Turbo to downpipe gasket (2): 18307553601

Will be interesting to see how much more power it’ll make with the new downpipes.

If I had easy access to an AWD dyno I would love to find out. Unfortunately shops near me charge crazy money for 2-3 pulls and it's just not worth it. I'll leverage as much Dragy data as I can from my stage 1 file and compare to the final stage 2 from Paul. I'll be sure to circle back once it's all finalized and share!

Yeah, I'm with you... Who cares what it makes on a dyno, as it's just a tool. What matters is the net gain in performance, and Dragy will definitely not lie to you. I think you'll see a bit more power, but these S58's don't seem to benefit too much from downpipes unless you go bigger turbos, and full E85, or meth it seems. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing your new data for sure!

I'm in the process of datalogging my M2C currently, and the Paul Johnson sauce is real... He's an amazing tuner, so I know he can make adjustments to your current tune and get your well sorted to be faster, as you well know.

I've seen guys pick up a couple mph in the 1/4 after retuning for downpipes so that is my hope. You don't have to run the WGDC as high and it's easier to control higher boost. Will report back!

I’ve gone 10.65 @ 131mph on E30 with factory downpipes. I bumped it up to E50 and it went 158mph in 1/2 mile… but it started going into limp mode on that tune with multiple try’s at a personal best 1/4 mile attempts. Still haven’t sorted that out, but it’s either a plug gap issue, or my lpfp isn’t up to task.

Either way, I’m not going as far as replacing downpipes until I grow out of improvements, or find the limits on the current setup. I’ll watch you guys from the sidelines, and cheer you on!! Still contemplating the G80 swap for the X3MC too, so that’s the other reason I don’t want to go too far with mods.

I used Otis Inc LA internally driven bolts for my winter wheels. They weren't locking however.

No spacers with the RZ01

Your post is really good and attractive. Thanks for sharing it with us. I want to know that, is there any safety driving guides for color blind people. Many peoples are affected with achromatopsia are unable to see colors of signal.

Custom Carbon Fiber Crossover Pipe for RK Tunes Intakes

I'm super excited to finally share a product that has been in the works for months. Many people dislike the look of the RK Tunes Intake silicone cross over pipe. While it functions great, the design is not the prettiest. Until now!

My good friend Andy designed a matte carbon fiber cross over pipes that replace the top silicone portion of the RK intake. It's 100% hand made in the USA. Its designed to mount directly into the OE accordion turbo inlet on the left side. Then simply cut the RK intake and slide in the opposing end and clamp it down. The install is super simple. It drastically changes the look inside the engine bay and fits like a glove. The ID at each end is equivalent to the RK silicone ID and the largest portion is is slightly larger than RK. You can reuse the passenger side RK clamp to mate the two on the driver side.

Pricing will be roughly $399. This is the first production unit but he plans to run a small batch very soon if anyone is interested.

I love you build man! Great car, looks really amazing! Most of what you're doing to your car is what I working to get on my X4M.
Like you, my goal is to keep the car looking as stock as possible. I came across the RK Tunes Intakes that I really like the sound it makes but I didn't like their method of "holding" the engine cover in place. It kinda got me looking in the direction of the Eventuri or Dinan which I am not too thrilled with it.
How are you holding yours in place or was it just there for the shot?

I also love your Advan GT Beyond wheels! 5 spokes wheels always have a soft spot in my heart. I am eying the copper bronze though. It's either that or the APEX VS-5RS if they can make something that fits for the F97/98.

I'm not utilizing the OEM engine cover that comes on the S58-1 (x3m/x4m). For a while I ran without and engine cover since I also didn't like RK's implementation. After looking into it more I found a solution.

I fitted the S58-2 engine cover that comes on the M3/M4. In the link below I show how I modified it to fit. It's very simple and retains the factory mounting hardware.

Super excited to finally share this setup! I can confidently say this is by far my favor wheel on any vehicle I've had to date. They suit the X3M so well and the combination of form & function is next level.

Advan GT Beyond
20x9.5 et17 (24lbs)
20x10.5 et32 (24lbs)

Nitto NT555rii drag radials
275/40/20
315/35/20

I am pretty much slammed as low as I can go which is causing a slight rub in the rear even after trimming some of the fender liner so this setup is not recommended as a slap on and go. The sidewall profile on these is super meaty being a 315 so if you want something similar that doesn't rub I would recommend a PS4S or something with a more stretched sidewall design. I plan to raise the rear up a touuch and trim a little more but it should be rub free after that.

Hi,
Do you have spacers all around this your current wheels/tires setup? If so what size?
