Custom Carbon Fiber Crossover Pipe for RK Tunes Intakes
I'm super excited to finally share a product that has been in the works for months. Many people dislike the look of the RK Tunes Intake silicone cross over pipe. While it functions great, the design is not the prettiest. Until now!
My good friend Andy designed a matte carbon fiber cross over pipes that replace the top silicone portion of the RK intake. It's 100% hand made in the USA. Its designed to mount directly into the OE accordion turbo inlet on the left side. Then simply cut the RK intake and slide in the opposing end and clamp it down. The install is super simple. It drastically changes the look inside the engine bay and fits like a glove. The ID at each end is equivalent to the RK silicone ID and the largest portion is is slightly larger than RK. You can reuse the passenger side RK clamp to mate the two on the driver side.
Pricing will be roughly $399. This is the first production unit but he plans to run a small batch very soon if anyone is interested.

dmanb2b wroteI'm getting a tiny bit of rub in the rear with the All Season 4 at this height. It has a much more squared off sidewall profile compared to the PS4S. They are known to be a little problematic when pushing the limits. I would say et30-et32 if you plan on running All Season 4. PS4S should clear no problem.Man that looks good!...so no rubbing on dips?
My car isn't aligned for this wide of tire either so a proper alignment could take care of it. I'll report back when they are on his car and aligned!

Looks great Brock! Can't go wrong wirh Bronze on White. Brings back the nostalgia of JDM.
Question on the RK CF crossover pipe; can the stock Engine cover be reused or does the G80 cover need to be retrofitted to retain the OE look?

TaroBaapG35 wroteYou can reuse the factory engine cover. It retains the same exterior dimensions as the RK silicone so it will work with both.Looks great Brock! Can't go wrong wirh Bronze on White. Brings back the nostalgia of JDM.

You'll need to separate the lid from the actual intake box but it will clear 👍🏼

What a beautiful build! WOW!! I just browsed all 10 pages. LOVE IT!
I come here asking for your feedback on IS1500 pads. I am having a tough time deciding between IS1500 and 2000. I DO NOT track my car and I live in Sunny California, NO freezing weather where I am.
I do not want to suffer performance for the mexicos run but MY WHOLE OBJECTIVE is to reduce brake dust, I cannot stand it.
Using 1500s, at the stip and in Mexico, do you wish you had some more bite and went with 2000s or are 1500s the way to go?
TYIA, look forward to your feedback

916_M5 wroteThanks a ton! I am very very satisfied with the IS1500 and I have never been left wanting more bite. I would try IS2000 if it were free just out of pure curiosity but I think they will produce a fair amount more dust which I don't want. As you see, I don't circuit track my car but slowing down after a 1/4 mile run has never once been an issue. They bite almost identical to OE pads and that's even after 1-2k miles now. I highly recommend! What a beautiful build! WOW!! I just browsed all 10 pages. LOVE IT!

Ski box mounted and a successful trip to upper Michigan for some snowboarding!
Very pleased how well this car handles snow. I didn't have a single issue and caught a gnarly blizzard on the way home. The Michelin PA4's did awesome.
