Talked to my wife, we like the idea to be "difference". Easy to find in parking lot but also for highway patrol to spot us. |

Chacun son goût. IMHO it looks fantastic in bright sunlight, but much less so under mercury or sodium vapor lamps. I like it and it's so much better than just another cookie cutter Silver BMW. It's incredible to me that BMW has (count em) three different Silver or Metallic Gray color choices. Folks, we don't need any more Silver BMWs. Wonder if any psychologist has ever done a correlation study of personality and automobile color choice? Does one pick a bright, vibrant color (Vermilion Red) because they're bright and vibrant or are they trying to compensate for a dull personality? Does one pick Silver (which is really only fancy gray) because they want to blend in and are afraid to be noticed, or because they want to commit anti-social behavior (like reckless driving) and hopefully slide under the radar. Or does one pick a color just because they like it. Or in my case, because I don't give a damm, and my wife picked it. :-) |
