Drivetrain Malfunction on 2011 X3 3.5
Drivetrain malfunction warning light came on last week, then car went into limp home mode.
Dealer diagnosed it as a bad fuel injection pump. Anyone else have this issue? |

Fuel injection pump? Sounds bogus, lotus7 was on the right track with his thread, when it re-appears have them install the software update from the service bulliten. |

Drivetrain malfunction - cold weather ?
I had the exact same problem last week on my 2013 X3, 28i. The car is still at the dealer. They said it was a bad relay switch... ( same as you woul get on a new Samsung tv).
Somehow, the weather was pretty cold that week. Averaging the -25 C (that is about -13 F ). So I am wondering if it could be linked. Still the infamous relay is nowhere to be found. I am told 7 to 10 days delivery. |
