There's a lot of spy shots and videos of the Macan, but it's so heavily disguised that you can't really tell how the exterior of the car looks. The interior will pretty much be influence by the Porsche Panamera and the rest of today's Porsche, to me it looks great, some will not like that numerous buttons.

Now for the X4, to me the exterior of the concept so far looks great. The interior will probably mimic the X3 with an updated Idrive. I hope I'm wrong and they change the interior with a floating like screen with recent BMW interior design to differentiate, probably not. As for driving dynamics, a good sample is to drive an X3. It has great reviews all around and having driven it. I like it but was looking something that is the X4 in exterior design, Range Rover Evoque-like

Primarily, I'm attracted to the design of this SAC. I'll give up a little practically for looks, coming from a Z4 owner that's really telling, lol.

I think the X4 will stack up pretty well with the Porsche Macan. The looks will be one of the main factor for those buyers in this segment. Pricing too, of course, with Porsche when option decently will probably will be higher than the same options as the BMW. Can't wait to see both next year. I'm very much leaning of the X4 and there' some biased in this. I think both will be quality cars.
The Macan will be a compelling offer with its great dynamics, size and performance. The price will be bearable too. It's amazing how Porsche cars are cheaper than their rivals! Like the Cayenne is cheaper than the X5 and ML and the Boxter is cheaper than the equivalent Z4 and SLK.

Did you see the images SCOTT26 revealed of what the production car will look like? It still looks good http://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=830287

According to SCOTT26, the X4 will feature the floating screen

Show me a Cayenne that costs less than a comparably equipped X5.

They did not show it.
X3 interior sucks! IMO

Excited it'll have the floating screen. I'm halfway committed just need to see it in the showroom. I'll take the X4 in Deep Sea Blue with a Mojave brown interior.

Will this thing even be able to lug things around or actually go in snow. Because the x6 cant. So an suv that cant do what an suv is supposed to do but it cant handle like a normal car neither. Just a big fail. Well a smaller version of the same fail.

Actually I can!
The entry level X5 xDrvie35i (225 kW, 400Nm) here in SA costs R720000
The entry level Cayenne 3.6 V6 (220 kW, 400Nm) here in SA costs R680000

The spec is almost identical, except that the X5 comes with rear and front PDC and the Cayenne doesn't. But that still won't justify the R40000 premium over the Porsche!!

Fair enough. In the US, though, that Cayenne starts at $49,600 and the X5 starts at $47,500. Further, I think 90% of buyers would add options to either that would broaden that gap a lot.

An X6 can't go in snow if you use the enormous performance tires that come on it, but neither could any other car. It's more about the tire than the car.

That's true and the Porsche options are much more expensive then the BMW options, so in a way it will be more expensive.

Uh wait, you're actually right. the X5 and Cayenne are the same price here now, so the X5 wins lol. But I mean to have a Porsche for similar money is quite enticing.

Is long beach similar to Alpina blue?

I am sorry but some of these new colors seem more "feminine" to me and are most likely to grab those in between customers

In the lower end of blue spectrum i'd go for Laguna Seca or Santorini or San Marino or Monte Carlo at the lightest metallic blue and that's it... YMB, EBII, the lighter blues just aren't par on my course

Azurite, Monaco (when polished), LMB, carbon black, tanzanite (when polished) etc.
