2011 BMW X3 (F25) Pricing Announced - Starts at $37,625
Pricing Announced for All-New BMW X3 SAV
* 13.10.2010 * Press Release Woodcliff Lake, NJ - October 13, 2010 – 12:00pm EDT … BMW announces a base price of $37,625 for the all-new BMW X3 Sports Activity VehicleŽ, which arrives in dealer showrooms by the end of the year. That is the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price for the refined, 240-horsepower X3 xDrive28i. The turbocharged, 300-horsepower X3 xDrive35i will have an MSRP of $41,925. Both prices include $875 Destination & Handling fee. Both models feature a standard 8-speed automatic transmission and BMW’s acclaimed xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system. BMW sparked the creation of today’s hottest industry segment with the 2004 introduction of the original BMW X3, a vehicle designed to be the best-handling light truck in the world – a true BMW – while affording its owners generous space and versatility to accommodate their active lifestyles. If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery then the competition has been very sincere indeed. The impact of the original X3 became unquestionable as other manufacturers rushed to join its unique place in the market. For the second-generation BMW X3, the designers and engineers took inspiration from every lesson learned in the original X3’s seven-year life cycle and forged two new models that extend the reach and strength of the original. More versatile than ever – with a rear seat that can fold in three sections, not just two. Faster. More fuel efficient. Refined. The new X3 will re-establish the benchmark for the segment the original X3 spawned. The new BMW X3 features the latest in BMW ConnectedDrive technologies, including an available rearview camera with Top View. The most comprehensive integration for the latest Blackberry smartphone devices will be available, making it possible to read emails from the Navigation screen while stationary and, through innovative text-to-speech technology, listen to e-mails while driving. As a true representative of The Ultimate Driving MachineŽ, the X3 offers a number of options to enhance driving dynamics and active safety. The available Dynamic Handling package includes two firsts in a BMW Sports Activity Vehicle: Driving Dynamics Control and the new Performance Control which works with Dynamic Stability Control to combine individual wheel braking with light throttle to help counteract the effects of understeer and oversteer. Variable Sport Steering is also included with the package. Additionally, for the first time, the X3 will be available with BMW’s Head-Up Display as an option. With a base price of $37,625 for the X3 xDrive28i, the all-new 2011 X3 also represents a notable jump in value over its 2010 predecessor, which started at $39,725. The 2011 X3 will include more standard equipment, including Bluetooth connectivity, iPod/USB interface, anti-theft alarm system, and on the X3 xDrive35i, standard BMW Xenon Adaptive Headlights. Produced exclusively at BMW’s Spartanburg, S.C. factory, the new X3 will be supported by a state-of-the-art ordering and manufacturing system. Customers will be able to make changes to their vehicle order until six days prior to the start of production. Also see: 2011 BMW X3 (F25) - Official Photos, Info, Wallpapers, Videos, Press Release |

Not a bad starting price point for 8spd AT and X-drive. Bet the options will be $$$$ though.
BTW, anyone remember what the starting MSRP was for the 1st gen cars?

The new X3 xDrive28i engine is quite capable, making the new X3 go faster than the current 328i RWD car. Although being a crossover, it is usually with the family on board, can't rev the engine high most of the time, so maybe the 35i will be more suitable.

Yup! Looking at around $50k for the X3 35i with premium, sport and convenience packages.
Upping the ante with adjustable suspension, rear view camera and power lift gate will just about put me in the po' house! Last edited by hpowders; 10-13-2010 at 03:08 PM.. |

so if you compare the base xdrive 35 X3 with X5, since the X3 has more included in base (bluetooth, ipod, etc). what's the price difference? base of X5 35 version is i believe 46K. i don't think the x5 base includes bluetooth, ipod, etc right?

Ordered x35i today
I ordered a x35i jet black/chestnut today scheduled for week 48 production. I did not get any option packages but got heated seats, steering wheel, folding seat 40.40.20 and sunroof in addition to the leather. I think the standard 18" wheels on the x35i are decent.

Hey. It was $45,865 with roof rails too. I planned to order a x28i but I did not like the wheels even with the sport activity package and I believe the x35i deletes the 4CG silver matte trim. I just prefer more basic cars. The first BMW I bought was a 2007 328i manual very basic I ordered.

is the pdf with options and pricing floating around? I know the MINI Countryman has one out there now with a similar on-sale date.
i'm hoping a 28i with premium, heated seats, and sport seats isn't too much over the $40 barrier. I think it'll be more than enough power- 6.7 to 60mph as I remember it. faster than my current E90 325i. Will have to drive it first....

Pricing and what did you get if dont include nav?
Congrats on your order. Did you try to get any sort of discount?
Based on the 3 series and 5 series I figure the invoice price on the x3 is approximately 8% less than msrp. Anyone have anything definitive? If you do not order nav do you still get the display and idrive? TIA |
