I love it! But, I agree, it definitely needs more flare on those fenders

I think I saw this exact same car in Alpine white today... It's weird because I thought it was an X5M but it was much smaller and had quad pipes and huge front intakes. It looked great though but the X5/6 M's look way more aggressive.

IZAGLO wroteAgreed on the 6-speed manual. My wife has an 04 X3 6-speed manual, and with cash in hand, she left the dealership when she found out the new one doesn't have a manual offered in the U.S. She was literally ready to put an order down for one when they were announced. If thi M was out now i would be buying it...I am hoping it comes in a 6 speed MANUAL...If not i will move on to something else...My dillema atm is i need a 4wd car NOW.....My son is usuing my DD CRV and the 135i will not get me out of my 800 ft driveway so i can get to work in snow..Retail manager so i have to be there.... I may just buy a second hand AWD car to get by till the M comes out...either `1XM oe 3XM either would do in a manual...Currently pricing out S4, 335iX.....possibly VW R if it shows up soon...Also test drove the Evo and the STI again as i have done many times....They just do not feel or have the build of the BMW.and do not feel fast anymore after the 135i torque...stock and especially with the JB4..but even stock for stock the 135i feels better than the STI or Evo......so what to do what to do...
Her plan is to wait and see if the X3M is offered with a manual, and if not, we'll go order a new Porsche Cayenne with a 6-speed manual the same day. Simple as that.
Our sales guy reminded us that we'd be breaking a 15 year streak of buying BMW's from him...as that would be two lost sales in the past year from us totaling over $100k (our 5er wagon will have to soldier on as well, since they didn't import that).

You reckon my wife will noticed that her x3 30d has changed if I just swap it without telling her? How do I explain to her that she needs to put petrol and no longer diesel in the car?

Render looks great, and I'm glad everyone likes it, but doesn't anyone else realize this looks almost exactly the same as the M Sport package (rear quad exhaust excluded)?
I'd expect wider fenders and definitely more rear rubber. Both of which will make it look even more sick.
I'd also expect the launch of the X3 M to come shortly before the X3 facelift, so it'll probably feature updated angel eyes with the new squared off top and bottom. Or, better yet, it could come earlier and coincide with the X4 launch and use the X4 headlights just like the X5 M uses the X6 headlights. Either way, will look unique and sick.

May be competition for the possibly all new Porsche "Cajun", a small version of the cayenne built on the Audi Q5 platform.
Can't wait for the press battles to begin: "Porsche Cajun S vs. BMW X3 M"

CarolinaBlue wroteAgreed to a point. I made the same comment about the fenders, but if you look a the X5 M and X6 M, they are fairly understated in terms of radical body difference. Much less difference than the M3 vs. standard E9x.Render looks great, and I'm glad everyone likes it, but doesn't anyone else realize this looks almost exactly the same as the M Sport package (rear quad exhaust excluded)?

Damn I was skeptical about this thing, but I'd sure as hell buy one! Sexy!! (And a lot lighter than the X5/6 M)

I see that you moved on to SUVs. No wonder E90POST OGs couldn't find you.

I'm thinking of a small, urban SUV myself. Currently looking at the new Range Rover Evoque.
How is the X3 treating ya?
I drove one for about a month before, and it changed my view of SUVs entirely. In a very positive way.

Yep, I traded the E90 for the X3 in May, after having traded the E91 for the X5 last August. Both M Sports, which I like. The low seat position was starting to bug me on long drives (and I have a long commute), and I liked the cargo space... plus was just in the mood for a change. I do miss the feel of the E90 with ZSP, but the X3 in Sport Mode is not too far off.See garage pics for the latest babies...

You forgot to render the side view mirrors to the X3 style for the rear pics.
The rear renders are based off pics of the X5M, just rendering in the upper half of the rear of the X3 to the X5M bumpers.

Like most have already said. Let's hope they offer a MT.
BMW's drive by wire in suv's is abysmal to say the least.
They just can't seem to get rid of that stutter start.
Hated stepping on the gas and the.....wait for it...ok now go action that GM6 had.
