Just replaced my stock 2015 xline chrome/silver grille, with gloss black double slat I purchased from amazon.com. Not too sure if I like it though. I'll grab the chrome, outer part of my OEM grille and see if the inner double slat will fit. I wanted to see how that outer chrome with inner black double slat will look on my AW.

SLO_X3 wrotehow to install black kidney grill???? any videos?2 weeks ago, we picked up our new (to us) Alpine White 2017 xDrive35i M-Sport. My wife and I love everything about the car so far, except for trying to figure out the endless amount of features.
Just got it back from the tint shop: 35% front with 20% rear, and I had them tint the headlight orange reflectors. Yesterday I installed the OEM gloss black grills to complete the look. Now, I'm on the hunt for some wheels...

GenyaM wroteHonestly, it's much easier then you think. After reading what I am about to tell you I was even hesitant to do it but just grab 2 dish cloths and slide it between the grill. Your going to need both hands because it takes a bit of pressure to pop the locks. If you are starting on the right grill grip all the way on the top right side. Pull with a lot of pressure and the clip will pop out. Then move to the top middle and do the same then move to the top left and continue around. it takes a bit of force but just do it, nothing will damage. Took be about 1 minute to replace both grilles. Dealer wanted $150 to do it.how to install black kidney grill???? any videos?

man the European spec headlights look way better without that ugly orange reflector in the NA version. Anyone find a vinyl decal or paint to cover it?

I have the LED turn signals which erases the orange, and the eyelids

Took the OEM outer chrome part of the grill on my 2015 28i Xline, and used the gloss black dual slat inner I bought from amazon. Dismantling and assembling is a bit tedious but is worth the effort. I like how subtle the new look is.

Picked up the replacement for the wife's 2014 Forester XT that got totaled a couple weeks ago. My first, and her second BMW. Should be a fun get around car for her!
2016 X3 xDrive35i with the M-Sport package!

Now... what to mod first.
