The regret and going to upgrade to a V8 later anyway.I don't make excuses. I bought what I wanted and I don't have to rationalize, nor do I care what others think.
So yes, don't make excuses, buy what you can afford, buy what you like.

When i traded in my X5MC I got an appraisal from my local BMW dealer. The sales manager said "Most people that buy X5's dont typically wanna pay the premium for the competition model." No crap. The X5MC is a different market segment than the X5.
This isn't a common saying I'm sure but recent to me and still bugs me a little bit.
