I have noticed that my low beam is not as bright as it was and I have led adaptive headlights so I was wondering if I can replace led bulbs only or it is a complete system as the dealer informed me which cost close to 4K usd

LED headlights don’t use “bulbs”…it uses a light module (see #11 in diagram below). BMW does sell repair kits (#1 & #2 in diagram)…I’m not quite sure what is in the kit…the parts dept (not the service dept) at your local ‘BMW dealership could offer more info as to what the kit contains or what the kit is used to repair.

If you had Xenon or Halogen headlights…those older headlight technologies use “bulbs”.
