I will probably not be going too far down the mod trail on this one. No downpipe, no intercooler upgrade, etc. The charge pipe was done as preventative maintenance, not for any potential performance gain. It will probably get a tune, and the charge pipe is definitely a good upgrade before that. I have catless headers on my E46 and hate the smell. Good luck with your projects!

So, as I said, not in love with the front lip. So I ordered a different one. Much happier with this one. One piece main structure, solidly molded, then the lower center piece installs on that. This is what I was looking for. And Herman is actually pretty clean for these pics. Still on the winter rollers, though. An image attached to this post, provided by the posterAn image attached to this post, provided by the posterAn image attached to this post, provided by the poster

Spent some time of Herman today. What started as a wash and swapping the snow tires off turned into several hours of work getting a solid start on paint correction. I'd say about 80% of the paint has been clay barred and given a quick machine polish. There are still scratches that could use some more aggressive polishing. I'm still a novice, though, so I've been going easy with the buffer. Still happy with how things are coming back. There's still some areas that need touchup paint, as well. I'm really falling in live with the Carbon Black Metallic paint color. The blue flop is really popping in the sun, now!

Wow, it's been close to a year since I've updated this! Not too much has changed. Just a lot of miles and some fluid changes. Both diffs, t-case, and most recently trans with new pan. Also had to replace the VC gasket back in the fall, it started leaking just past 100k miles. Currently sitting at around 109,5xx miles, so I've put on about 22k since purchase in November 2024. I did pick up some Blizzaks for the stock wheels for winter. They still could use a refinished, but they are winter wheels.

Recently I got my hands on a 275/40r19 tire to test fit for front clearance. It's tight, but it fits! I hopped on TireRack to check exact specs on the test tire vs tires I might actually buy and found a crazy closeout deal on some Yokohama ADVAN Apex V601 summer tires. They should be here tomorrow. Excited for the fat, square tires and the grip!
