Just finishing the build spec for ordering our car.

While changing the tires and wheels from 887 M Wheels with high-performance tires to to 887 M Wheels with all-season tires the configurator tells me I have to remove the M Sport differential. This appears toimply that the M Sport differential is not compatible with all-season tires.

We will be specifying the 20" M Double Spoke Jet Black Wheels with high-performance non RFTs.

Our plan is to replace the tires that come with the car with the best high-performance non RFT all-season tires we can find.

We are also ordering the space saver spare.

If I have to remove the M Sport differential from the build spec in order to safely swap the factory high-performance non RFTs with after-market high performance non RFT all-season tires after the car arrives, how much will I be sacrificing?

I put regular high performance tires on my x4 m40, they are not run flats. I have never heard of needing to disable any sport differential features? Sounds strange. I’d get a second opinion.

I have these (see attachment)
