we purchased this BMW recently suprised to see that it does not have APPLE PLAY. Is there any way to get this? Also odd that it does not have a proximity sensor and I have to manually unlock the car. Even my husbands 2010 BMW 328i has that.???.....

I also do not have the option for remote updates so that I can see if the software needs to be updated as well as the maps. Can't see to find anywhere to download the most recent version of maps for canada to usb.

Does anyone with more knowledge of this vehicle know why I do not have these options.?

Snap - I have just purchased a 2017 X4 xDrive30d.
Just need to collect it when my Logbook turns up for the X3 so that I can part-Ex it.

If you go to https://bimmer.work/ and type in your VIN number it will tell you exactly what options the car was bought with.

The BMW software link doesn't appear to be working for me at the moment so unsure where you can get the software from.

I'll know in a few days what version mine is on but from the VIN lookup I have summat called 6CP- Apple Carplay Preparation.
