LOL. Excellent point. I don't think they will give any discount on the first month when the SUV is on the lot. My main goal is to see, check it out and take a test drive to make sure it is good enough for me to go through the purchasing process.

Add your production number to MyGarage so you can track the progress and give Genius a call to get your production week. Once you go into Production Begins, about two weeks prior to assembly, then you can use the "F12" process to get your production date.

It takes a couple of days or so to New England.

Exciting to see lots of orders going in! We've been discounting roughly to invoice for our clients in most parts of the country, slightly more depending on location!

I didn't ask that. I'll check on that later.
But, Based on Youtube videos, apparently a lot of Canadian dealerships are getting demo vehicles for a few days.I believe BMW Toronto's video mentioned they had X3 for just 2 days.

LOL. I mean the San Jose area.

The wait begins! I put my order in today. Does anyone know when you are fully locked into the car? Does that not happen until delivery? In the end, can they sell it to someone else?

Being in CA you aren't locked into it until your take delivery. As far as the dealer being locked in to selling it to you, they likely are not. We have had instances where dealers asked for more money and sold the ordered vehicle to someone else. Thankfully that happens very, very infrequently and in some states there are laws regarding that.
