Hey guys, My wife has a 2019 X3 with 36,000 miles. She took it to the dealer for service/oil change on 8/22 and today out of no where the engine light came on. One of the indy mechanics I know read it and came up with code P05AF. The car is out of warranty and I would hate to bring it back to the dealer.
It seems like the grill shutter because it's stuck at open.
Did anyone else have this problem? And, how much did it cost to get the mechanism replaced?
I would really appreciate any guidance or insight to deal with this issue.

The warranty for them has been extended. 15 years 150,000 miles
