icarsoft OBD devices claim to have the function that you ask about. Are icarsoft devices available in Norway (via online purchase)?

Yes,they are but I think they do all bmws like the newest ones.

This is thru bimmerlink, I don't think it'll change or save anything other than giving a service function signal to enable/disable service mode for parking brakes.

But if you are really concerned about the warranty, either you manually remove and retract the parking brake or have the dealer to it for you.

I bought a icarsoft cr max and that did it, thanks for the answers.

You can remove the motor from the calliper.
Really easy
And wind the mechanism back in by hand
It’s a big torx bit but winds in with hand pressure clockwise.
Then refit the handbrake motor.

Did this with our 2019.. didn’t have BimmerCode then.
Was maybe 5 mins extra per side

Just to clarify…BimmerCode & BimmerLink are TWO different apps.

Bimmercode - is a coding app that allows you to select and change operational functions of various control modules in the car’s communication bus.

Bimmerlink - is a diagnostic app that allows you to read & retrieve data from the car’s control modules if they have registered fault codes…or retrieve status data like temperature, voltage, level, etc.
