I have bmw x4 f26, 2016 with comfort access but the hands free trunk opening is not working.
Is that because the car equipped with a trailer hitch?

That could be it because in the M4 forums people had issues when they upgraded there carbon diffuser, I know I did, it still works but not like it did with the stock diffuser, but some did figure out how to "boost the signal" for it to work better.

I never bothered because I rarely go into the trunk, unless to disconnect the battery.
