Anyone tried retrofitting idrive screen with a touch screen?
I heard it’s doable but needs some modding on the screen and some heavy coding.

if you have idrive 5/6 (nbt evo), you can have a touch screen, you just need to use a F25/F26 frame for 8.8 inch and use and F30 touch screen. Then some coding is needed, it is not too complicated just few fdl coding.
Another alternative to have a touch screen is to use an aliexpress frame for 10.25 in which is compatible with F15 screen. You will have a 10.25 touch screen of F15 for your F25/26. Or you can use a G30 screen, check my post in F25 forum.
