Looks good. Did you have to do any special prep to get the paint to stick to the mud flaps?

Looks really good!!

If you don't mind sharing specs on spacers front and back please.

Also, how is the ride with the H&R springs?

Thanks.

Well I am using 10mm back and 3 mm front. But that is specific for the ACS rims (fronts are 20x9 with 22 offset and rears are 20x10 with a 33 offset). I have winter rubber on the OEM stock X4M 40i rims which are 20x8 front with 38 offset and rears are 20x10 with a 51 offset. So to bring the OEM rims out to the same point as the ACS rims, I use 20 mm spacers front and back. If you are using other than OEM rims then you need to know the offset of front and back and then do the math to determine size of spacers needed.

Ride with the H&R springs is about the same. H&R makes the springs that come in the stock X4M 40i so not much diff. Only diff is “looks” as the H&R springs drop the vehicle about 1”.

Good stuff! Thanks for the info

Lastly where did you get the front 3D front lip and how was the fitment?

Welcome.
Fitment for the front splitter was excellent 100%. Spoiler was about 90% as had a small gap at one end (underneath the spoiler so not visible).

I purchased from the Canadian 3D Design dealer (MW Design Technik). If go to the 3DDesign website (Japan) they list the dealers across the world.

Thanks. Mudflaps were from Amazon (3 years ago) but listing not there now. Found similar ones on eBay. See pics.

Re suspension, was done 3 years ago as well. Not sure how much time to settle. But checked actual space and rear still sits about an inch higher. Pics don’t seem to show that but rear does sit higher.

Wow stunning car. That mod list is exactly as it supposed to be. Just got my hands on a F26 X4 but parts are scarce in my part the world so will need to import almost everything.

Yes always loved a stiffer ride, better on track. Got the springs from Essex Distributors / H&R Springs Canada.

Thanks. Still trying to decide if go with Stoner exhaust, 3D Design or Supersprint.
Hope you enjoy the new ride. Sounds like will take some time to do mods—but that’s the great thing, will always want to do something and will be a long term project.

I actuallly wrapped them in carbon fiber vinyl. I’m sure can paint if dull the surface with a 600 sandpaper.

They are easy to remove. The front of the marker has a fixed clip. The rear of the marker has a spring loaded clip. So all you do is push from the front of the marker towards the back of the car. The spring will “give” and then remove from the front of the marker

It looks really beautiful in carbon. I thought it was black but in this color it just looks great. Thank you for the detailed explanation. So you think it's more efficient to wrap in foil instead of do you paint?

Welcome. Well I just like Carbon Fibre. So anything that I couldn’t get real CF, I wrapped with CF vinyl. Can buy on Amazon. But also need a heat gun. Had to paint rear BMW trunk emblem as wrapping didn’t last. But as I said, need to sand and take off sheen for paint to stick. Have not had any issues with the CF wrapped side marker.
