Dear guys , one ring of the "angel eyes" is losing intensity day by day and moreover is changing color from white to yellow (look attached photo to understand what I am speaking about). Consulting bmw electronic parts catalogue I noticed that, unlike previous versions of x3 and other bmw cars, there is no replacement for the drl's LEDs.
Does anyone know if the lighting is integrated into the lighthouse or if there is a method to change it?
Thank you for your help.

My car is a x3 f25 facelift.

My guess is the box is sealed; I have heard of people with much older Bimmers heating the enclosure in oven to loosen/remove and replace lenses- and some cut the enclosure open to add halo rings as a DIY upgrade.

Best bet may be to replace entire unit- perhaps source from EBay or salvage place.

Good luck
Bill

Thank you Bill.
I think it's unbeliveable I have to change the whole headlight for a single led failure. I am so disappointed about this BMW choice.

I looked at repair instructions at NewTis.info site and could not find any info about the angel eye halo rings. You might take a look, maybe I missed something but I think not.

I looked yesterday on that site but there is no document about the F25 LCI drl repair... When I Press "change drl led" the site redirect me to the document related to older f25 (not LCI).

Angel eye LEDs are replaceable, but they are installed on the bottom of the headlight.

I don't know that I'd trust that diagram. I've seen plenty of errors in them before. Only real way to know is pop off the front bumper and see.

Your link points to pre LCI headlight parts. He has the first month of the new facelift production as we can see on the picture, so this is not going to work.
Pelicanparts fitment for this item is up to 03/2014

I re-iterate, this is why realOEM can be so confusing.

OP, you have to remove the bumper and see what light you have.

Unfortunatelly no spare parts exist for facelift. Probably we need to change the whole headlight... BMW need more and more money time by time. I am so disappointed.
