Cargo net still available?
has anyone ordered the cargo net on a 2013? I asked for it and my dealer said it is not listed as a 2013 accessory, even though it is listed on the BMW site.

The feature is available approx $200 cost. Cheaper to order from the factory. I regretfully missed this option and having this installed from the dealer is close to $1,000 ($400 for the 2 in 1 cover) and the labor for the ceiling hooks at $600.

Make sure your dealer knows you are referring the $180 cargo net integrated into the rear cover, not the little loose cargo net that comes with the Storage package. My dealer thought we were talking about the accessory net until I cleared it up for him. |

Thanks folks.
My car is still in 'build' and my dealer keeps giving me 'its not in the 2013 catalog' I told this to BMW and they said 'please check with your sales mgr'...grrrrr I just told my salesman I want this added to the build. Hopefully, they can make it happen. |

Ordered mine April 14th delivered May 14th with Cargo net. It is a well designed extra and well worth it.
As I remember it didn't show up as part of my build when I checked the online status but when dealer check there access it was there. That is the only issue I recall. It would be a lot of trouble to add-on because of the fixture on the back of the seats and the overhead fittings. Not sure a dealer could handle it. This is why I recommend getting it with your order. If they don't believe it is available just show them the AV manual offered demonstration on how it works. |

Wow. Here is what I got from my dealer.
'I’m afraid that BMW locked us in over a week ago and has now begun production. We can no longer modify the vehicle to add in the cargo net option. At this point we will need to see what becomes available once the parts department updates to include the 2013s.' |

Did they have to put in an entirely new headliner for this?
