hi all,

i have an 09/2005 e60 (not e90 i know :P) and unfortunately it has no phone prep so no cables pre-wired to the boot where ulf/tcu should be.

i'd like to get the cic + combox retrofit but without taking the whole car apart to run cables from boot to dash.

i heard that it is possible to install the combox somewhere in the dash but could not find any more info other than that.

has anyone tried such a thing? or has any links with more info on the subject?
