e90 M3 possibly in SoCal

I know... I know... this thread is useless without pictures

I was on 60 Westbound/710 around 6:10 pm (9/24/06) and guess who's cruising on the No.1 Lane? --e90 M3. You may crucify me on this but I had a good look on the distinctive e90 front end, side (4 doors), and the quad exhaust. Tried to follow to take pictures but was too fast for my 06 4runner

But please Socal people be on the lookout.

BMW have to test their cars in traffic somewhere. Nice spot. Did it look like what we expect? Or was it disguised?

It was camouflaged similar to the e92 M3 that we've seen a lot of times in this forum. The front end was not as heavily taped compared to the rear, that's why I was 100% that it's the "Ultimate Driving Machine".

bmw has a test facility in santa barbara, california, so their test cars are usually spotted all over california, especially in socal.

Yes, that's the word on the street.

You can also check spy photos both e90/e92 M3 taken in Europe.

we have been flooded recently with pics of a black e92 m3 like the one below, it will be refreshing to see a e90 m3 sedan for change. wonder whether they both share a similiar front bumper design.
