335i interior camera mount

I have a 335i E92 and have been looking for a good camera mount. I found this on some random site and wonder if anyone thought it would be any good?

Does anyone have this mount or a similar one? If so, does it work well?

one of the honda sites had a "how-to" for making one of those mounts with some home depot parts for less than $20. worked pretty well, I'll have to see if I can find it though.

pardon my ignorance, but why not go the easy way and velcro the camera to the dash?

For 2 reasons:

1. I want to make some track videos that I can see the dash and steering wheel for that "inside the cockpit" look. Will also help me to look over that track day and see what I did wrong or right.

2. I want to have a camera mounted for safety reasons. I have run into way too many drunk/stupid drivers on the road and if anything were to happen I want to have proof. I also want to be able to see my steering wheel in the frame for that same reason (proof I was not at fault if something happens).

Appreciate all the help, guess I'll go with that mount.

(not to thrilled on the idea of building a ghetto style one, thanks anyways though. )
