Hi. So I don't know much about this brand for the x3m and I am no audiophile. Was there a big difference in sound with upgrading from the HK mods/tweets or better off to do subs and amp as well.

Ultimately you’d like to the doors, the underseats and add an amp. If you have the coin you can do it all at once with new components

I just did the BimmerTechs in the doors and dash to start and felt it was definitely a noticeable upgrade from the OEM HK speakers (I gave those away)

Then Burr001 gave me a pair of BavSounds for the underseats

I was all content with that setup for awhile until I got the bug again and some extra cash, so I did the amp and swapped out speakers ($$$$)

If you’re at all on any kind of budget starting with the BT’s is worthwhile
