BMW IX3 M sport Pro
Recently picked up my BMW IX3 M sport Pro, initially I was going for the Normal M sport, but just had to get the Pro, all the other tech in it and the extra styling. Wasn’t that much more expense which was good
What do we think of BMWs new Sophisto Grey? I thought it suited it, thoughts? |

We don't know because we cannot see it.
Please try some daytime outdoor photos.

Of course, I meant in general but I didn’t make it clear. What do you think of the looks, I mean I know it’s electric, but BMW can make an electric car look good no?

We don’t get the iX3 in the U.S. Perhaps in the daylight we can see if it’s at all different from an ICE X3. When the 4 Series Gran Coupe becomes an i4, it’s essentially indistinguishable. BMW’s current strategy has been to create a singular vehicle with a choice of powertrain so it doesn’t really have a visual identity as an electric vehicle.

Really? Defo I’ll take one tomorrow and I’ll send it over for you. Apologise, I thought it looks sick at night, yeh I agree with that, but also there are a few changed up close, like the covered grille and the extra bits and pieces for the body. Mainly it’s the interior, it’s fully loaded with everything

It's just the G01 CLAR platform designed for ICE but with a battery, so looks pretty much the same as a petrol or diesel G01 with the same options. In the not too distant future, BMW will employ the Neue Klasse platform which is a BEV design from the ground up, rather than a modified ICE version. Expect it to look different. https://www.bmw.co.uk/en/more-bmw/co...-klasse-x.html |

Yeh exactly, but no in the UK the petrol/diesel doesn’t come with half the options that the IX3 comes with, I don’t know why, but in the UK The electric one is much more expensive for that reason. Yes so the Neue Klasse is supposing to be the era if you want to phrase it like that for the Electric cars now in the future. I’m a fan tbh

I think you will find plenty of UK X3 M40 owners on here with lots of options, and price wise these will also be much more expensive. It's down to what you want from the car, as to which model best fits your individual needs. |

Yeah definitely, well we liked the IX3 because it’s a good starter electric SUV, and we have always had the X3 since 2012 believe it or not. So it only seemed right that we stay loyal

Thanks bro, thought it looked great, white also looks alright. And the performance sounds make you smile honestly. Never thought I’d love an electric car so much

Storm Trooper is simply white with black trim, and Vadar is all black. There are lots of individual colour options in the UK, but these cost £4500 MRSP extra - Malachite is an example - |

Actually quite nice! I’m no longer preferring the German Color Scale personally, but if I was in that range, a deep and rich charcoal like that would be my choice as well. Given our choices here without spending $5k, I chose red to go along with my other orange Bimmer.

It looks very good. I’m not ordinarily a big fan of gray color on a car, but that shade looks really sharp.

I'm partial to the 21" 718M wheels with the red callipers. It's a PITA to keep them clean though, so for me, it's was worth applying high temp glass to aid cleaning. You've also got to watch the diamond-cut finish as it can be compromised leading to white worm.
It's also interesting how the paint colour can look different in different lighting conditions. |
