driving home in my two day old X3 and the screen goes real dark to the extent I can't hardly see it. I tried the interior dim dial over by the lights on/off switch. nothing. also went into the night dimming menu - set it to be as bright as possible. nothing. i've read some things that tell me to do my own coding, but wondering if anybody figured out a different solution? doing my own coding sounds really hard.

also, would seat covers help with how uncomfortable the seats are on a long drive? my back, legs killing me and oh so stiff when I got home.
