BMW wireless charger breaking Iphone 15

I optioned my car with the wireless charger. I stopped using it because it would heat the hell out of my iPhones to the point where it was hot to touch and the heat warning would come up on my phone. Mind you I was using CarPlay, while using google maps and Apple Music. This was the case with the iPhone 11 and 13 pro. Doesn’t surprise me that the factory wireless charging pad is causing other issues. Phone should never get as hot as it does when under use and being on the charging pad. I now use a Bellkin MagSafe car charger mount and it works flawlessly.
