Mislabeling in the ad is just for copy right purpose.

If you buy then you'll get the "real" mfg label name.

It's the damn dash cutting. Different sellers all sell the same item from same factory. They don't know, as in they will say the infamous plug and pray. As you pressure the sellers, the will ask the factory. And factory confirms dash cutting.

Center speakers on cars almost always mix the left and right channel reducing the separation. I have never seen an instance where they improve the sound. Making them more prominent is feels wrong.
Put a dancing hula girl there, it will sound better than that speaker.

IIRC, the option 0688 HK surround sound system in the car can play a "real" center channel content.

I have multichannel flac titles and channels are correctly employed on the HK, so the channels matches the source. This isn’t the case on the HIFI or base RAM options.

The whole idea of Logic7 is to provide a spacious immersive surround sound for 2 channel input, so in this case the center will be a DSP creation. But Logic7 will always apply some amount of channel DSP to achieve its goal.

Just to confirm, so if you play multichannel flacs, you switch off Logic 7?

It’s not necessary to turn off Logic7, as it retains accurate channel routing, but can still be used to alter spacial cues.

I unplugged mine and believe it created more separation in the car. Some say they hear a bump in the power but I don’t. I have idrive 6 hifi, so crappy before it got crappier.
